This project draws inspiration from the small flower shops that quietly exist in everyday life and the way people use flowers to express emotions such as gratitude, love, and blessings during meaningful occasions. Each flower carries its own symbolic meaning, becoming a subtle language of emotion. As an introverted person, I find it difficult to express myself directly; therefore, I choose to communicate through the language of flowers as a more gentle and implicit form of expression. To me, flowers are not merely decorative elements, but a bridge that connects emotions and personal narratives. Through this design, I engage in an internal dialogue between my present self and my expectations for the future. The bag becomes a medium that reflects my feelings of uncertainty, struggle, and gradual self-growth. It embodies the desire to step beyond limitations and move toward a freer, more open stage of self-expression. In terms of technique, this project combines leather printing with eco-printing processes, integrating traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design thinking. Real flowers are directly pressed onto the leather surface, creating organic imprints with irregular edges and naturally diffused textures. These unpredictable patterns symbolize freedom from rigid structures and predefined boundaries. The color palette features a contrast between deep purple and natural leather tones, complemented by low-saturation yellow derived from the eco-print process. Purple represents inner confusion, introspection, and emotional depth, while yellow signifies the gradual emergence from darkness toward clarity and light. The overlapping and blending of these colors reflect the transformation of emotions, reinforcing the central concept of the project — breaking free from uncertainty and moving toward a stage of unrestricted self-expression.
