The inspiration is centered on the concept of reducing carbon emissions, exploring the transformation of an individual’s state throughout a journey, as well as the environmental impact of different modes of movement. Walking is chosen as a symbol of low-carbon mobility, combined with a “multi-functional” sustainable design approach to reduce both physical burden and environmental impact during movement. ⸻⸻ The work narrates a journey of “starting light and gradually carrying more.” At the beginning, belongings are kept minimal, retaining only essential items to reduce weight and resource consumption. As the journey progresses, items gradually accumulate and usage scenarios evolve, leading the bag to transform in both form and capacity. When fully expanded, the interior reveals a map of Asia, symbolizing the journey across multiple locations, while recording the traces of movement and the accumulation of time.
