We are an online portal hosting competitions within the field of design. Our site allows for the uploading and posting of comments, statements, images, information, text, graphics, logos, photographs, moving images, illustrations, sound and other materials, referred to as “User Content.”
By using our site you accept these terms
Your access to and use of our site is subject exclusively to these Terms of Use being agreed to by you, being either (a) a visitor to the site or (b) a registered user of the site, who has completed a profile that has been accepted by us (“Registered User”), with privileges to upload Content for competitions we may host from time to time (subject to separate terms and conditions per competition (“Competition T&Cs”) that we will make available to you as appropriate). The terms “User”, “You” and “Your” refers to a visitor and/or a registered user.
By using our site, you confirm that you accept these terms of use and that you agree to comply with them.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our site.
You represent that you are over the age of 18. We do not permit those under 18 to use the site or Our services.

Registered Users will have access to such additional features on our website as we may from time to time determine in our sole discretion. Such additional features may include the facility to view sections of the site available to Registered Users only. We will provide Registered Users with a username and password to enable them to access the restricted areas of our website.
Registered Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and also for all activities that take place under your account. You agree to ensure that you log off from your account at the end of each session and agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or access to your password. We may disable username and passwords, delete accounts, and delete any information associated with an account, in our sole discretion without notice or explanation.

If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential. You must not disclose it to any third party.
We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.

How you may use material on our site
We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site, and in the material published on it, subject to the intellectual property rights in the User Content described below. We reserve the right to take action with regard to your User Content, if we believe it falls into our list of prohibited content.

Your User Content must be appropriate, civil, tasteful and accord with generally accepted standards of etiquette and behaviour on the Internet. User Content intellectual property rights
Your User Content remains your sole intellectual property and copyright and we make no claim of ownership rights. In order to provide our site, we require a licence from you to allow us to publish your User Content on our site. This licence is worldwide (because the internet is global). This licence is non-exclusive (allowing you to licence your User Content to all others). This licence is royalty-free (we are not required to pay you for the publishing of your User Content). This licence is sub-licensable (in order to allow us to deliver your User Content electronically, via subcontractors such as internet delivery networks). You grant to us a worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate and distribute your User Content in any existing or future media. You also grant to us the right to sub-license these rights, and the right to bring an action for infringement of these rights.
No text or data mining, or web scraping
You shall not conduct, facilitate, authorise or permit any text or data mining or web scraping in relation to our site or any services provided via, or in relation to, our site. This includes using (or permitting, authorising or attempting the use of):

We are not responsible for viruses and you must not introduce them
We do not guarantee that our site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.

Which country’s laws apply to any disputes?

You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction except that if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
If you are a business, these terms of use, their subject matter and their formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
