The DFD is founded in 2009 by Dean Professor Chen Junhong. Professor Lin Qingmei now is the director, take in charge of the whole system planning, each year recruit two groups of the daytime undergraduate program, costume design, and boutique design, now the total number of 350 students in this department.
In the earlier time, the teaching goals of the department were “fashion design”, “pattern design” and “brand marketing”, due to the needs of the change of the times, changed to “fashion design” and “fashion boutique design” as the main, to provide high-quality fashion-oriented professional courses, training emphasis on beauty and design thinking to develop, so that students from life experience, willful understand, looking for business opportunities from the aesthetics of life, and to foster both brands, the overall shape Of the design pioneer taste.
