I am a relatively introverted person who tends to express myself through observation and design rather than words. I enjoy taking time to notice details in everyday life and transforming those impressions into creative work. This quiet way of thinking allows me to develop ideas that are personal, reflective, and meaningful. I have a strong interest in basketball and streetwear culture, both of which have greatly influenced my aesthetic and design direction. The energy, structure, and visual language found in sports and fashion inspire me to explore the relationship between movement and form, as well as function and identity. These influences are often reflected in my work, where I aim to create designs that are both expressive and practical. I grew up in a loving and supportive family, and their encouragement has given me the confidence to pursue my creative interests. This environment has shaped my perspective on design, allowing me to approach my work with sincerity and emotional awareness. In my design practice, I focus on translating personal experiences into tangible objects. I am particularly interested in how time, memory, and use can be embedded into design, creating pieces that carry both functional and emotional value.

I own many pairs of sneakers, but over time they have gradually been left unused. This led me to reflect on how design could extend the life of these objects, allowing them to continue in a new form rather than being discarded. My childhood experience of participating in marathons left a strong impression on me, especially the streamlined aesthetics of running shoes, which became a key inspiration for this project. I am particularly drawn to white leather sneakers. The creases and stains that develop through use are not seen as damage in my perspective, but as traces of time and personal memories. From a sustainability perspective, I believe the true value of design is not only about material reuse, but also about encouraging longer use and emotional attachment to objects. Therefore, this project translates sneaker elements into a bag design while preserving the presence of “wear and traces,” allowing the product to accumulate stories and emotional value over time. Through this transformation, the design not only extends the lifecycle of the object, but also reduces waste caused by rapid consumption, responding to the concept of longevity and emotional durability in sustainable design.
