Inspired by the butterfly parasol of the Triều Nguyễn court, the design embodies a dialogue between traditional beauty and a contemporary spirit. The radiating structure of the canopy suggests a sense of order and enclosure, while the presence of butterflies introduces softness, freedom, and constant transformation. The design explores a subtle contrast between rigidity and fluidity, between structure and lightness. These visual elements move beyond mere decoration to become an emotional state—where beauty exists in its fragility and transience. “Điệp Tán” is therefore not only an interpretation of heritage, but also a renewed perspective in which tradition flows into the present, creating an aesthetic space that feels both familiar and new, like a dream that has yet to fully fade.
