Kamila Denicka- Leather shoulder bag
Category: Accessories
I got the opportunity within my university to enrol in a leather course, that lasted just under 2 months. During the course I learned everything that goes into making a bag and all the processes to perfect. I had the opportunity to make my own bag with the guidance of my tutors. I chose a brown leather and a delicate soft white leather to contrast eachother but also to blend together well. I knew I wanted a flower in my design to represent the delicacy of a petal reinforced in an ‘unbreakable’ resistant material. I also took inspiration from a museum artefact called the ‘unicorn saddle’ by Equitek. My base is a ‘quilted’ with lanes. The closure is a magnet sandwiched with brown leather to contrast the white leather and the whole bag is pleated on either side with long handles and a spacious inside with three separate compartments.
